The Hundred-Foot Journey

The Hundred-Foot Journey

I have abandon my previous book, The Kite Runner and I am going to start the Hundred-Foot Journey By: Richard C. Morais. The book is about this Indian kid who is learning how to cook in India and when tragedy pushes his family out of India he and his family land up in a small village in the French Alps. The family opens an Indian restaurant opposite of a famous French chef Madame Mallory.

When I bought this book on my device, the reviews looked really good. Most people reviewed this book all 5 stars. The editorial reviews include one from the New York Times Book Review said,
"The novel’s charm lies in its improbability: it’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ meets ‘Ratatouille." Another editorial review is from the author of Chocolat- Joanne Harris and she said that the Hundred-Foot Journey "has great charm and is colorfully written, sensual and evocative.” All of these reviews seem great and very interesting. The book itself seems really interesting and I cant wait to read it!
